We are loving the puppies Gus is producing, both our own, and outside litters.  They have gorgeous heads, lots of bone, tons of coat, and his sweet, silly temperament.  Look for his kids in the show ring Spring/Summer 2014.  Contact us for more information regarding litters due and pictures of past/present litters.

Bred by: Nicole and Michael Santamaria, Cedarbrook and Leslie Plank, Forestwood

Gus is our keeper from our Bella bred to BISS Ch. Tremont’s Foo Man Chu. He was co-bred with our good friend Leslie Plank (Forestwood). Gussy was such an easy puppy to raise and has grown into a wonderful dog. He spent his first few years hanging out with me on bed rest while I was pregnant with my human babies. After having our second baby, our friend Cam Adams (Camelot) offered to handle him knowing we weren’t able to get to many shows ourselves with two infants. Even though we started showing him later than we would have liked, he did very well with limited showing. Cam started taking him out in May of 2012 and picked up both of his majors under breeder judges that summer. He took another year off, and went with her to Ballston Spa in August, 2013. He took RWD the second day of the show, and WD the next three days to finish his championship, under all breeder judges. We are thrilled and so proud of them. His first time in the ring as a special, he took a JAM in a huge Best of Breed class at the Pawcatuck River Labrador Retriever Club. We now look forward to seeing him show in Best of Breed. A special thanks to all the breeder judges that recognized our boy.

We are loving Gus’s puppies. There were a few litters born this summer, and several more are being bred now, due this fall/winter. Check back soon for pictures. They have pretty heads, lots of bone, tons of coat, and his sweet, silly temperament. Look for them in the show ring in Spring, 2104!
